Privacy Notice - Spectec

If you’re visiting our careers site and do not make an application, we don’t collect any personal information about you.

However, if you apply for an advertised position at SpecTec we will collect information about you, so we can process your application.

 

What information do we collect?

We will collect the following as part of your application:

• Contact details (name, telephone number, email address and location)
• A copy of your cv
• Equal opportunities data (this is not a mandatory requirement)

 

Who has access to my information and why do they need it?

The recruitment team within SpecTec will have access to your personal information in order to match your details to current and future vacancies, to arrange assessments, and as may otherwise be needed, through to the final offer of employment.

Our hiring managers will have limited access to your information should your application progress through the recruitment process.

 

Where is my information stored?

Our applicant tracking system is provided by Workday a 3rd party supplier, which hosts all of our employment data this is a fully compliant company and complies with the Privacy policy 

Workday do not share your information with other 3rd parties.

From time to time, SpecTec, may need to share your personal information with other trusted partners and third parties as part of the recruitment process. However, we will only disclose your personal details for the following reasons:

• When it is necessary to involve a third-party service provider in order to facilitate or extend recruitment services, such as occupational testing for ability and personality assessments.

 

How long do you retain my data?

Your details will remain on our applicant tracking system throughout the recruitment process and whilst you are actively pursuing positions with SpecTec.

However, your personal information will not be kept more than 6 months from the date of your initial application.

We may contact you within the 6 month period about other vacancies we think your skills and experience align to.

 

Requesting access to your information

Everyone has the right to request visibility of the information we hold about them. This is called a Subject Access Request.
